Skin Care Tips for Combination Skin

skinYou must treat your skin well if you want to make it youthful and fresh. Through proper cleansing and moisturising, your face can become radiantly soft and beautiful. While it’s easy to just rinse and splash your face with a little water, you also need an efficient anti ageing product for a better result.

Every person has a different skin type. Skin types include normal, oily, dry, combination, and sensitive. Most people have combination skin that produce blackheads, overly dilated pores, and a shiny face. It’s also a condition where wrinkles, breakouts, and dry skin are present at the same time. When you have combination skin, your T-zone is oily, while the rest of your face is flaky.  So if you have this skin type, a well-formulated anti ageing cream for combo skin is a good choice. You may also do these things to take care of your combination skin.

Gentle Cleanser

A gentle water-soluble cleanser is a good product that prevents irritation and dryness. A gel-based or mild foaming cleanser is also perfect if you have an oily and dry skin combination. Using a gentle cleanser regardless of the texture of your skin is important to avoid skin irritation.

Toner

Your toner should not contain irritants like alcohol, menthol, fragrance (synthetic or natural),  and other similar chemicals. Instead, use a toner that has antioxidants to help your skin restore its natural glow.

Exfoliation

Exfoliation is important, as it removes built-up skin cells. Products with BHA (Beta hydroxy acid) are especially helpful for normal, oily, or blemish-prone skin. This is because they exfoliate not only the surface of the skin, but the inside pores as well. These products can kill acne-causing bacteria by unclogging pores.

Spot Treatment

Use a moisturising cream on dry areas. Applying a matte finish foundation is also good for combination skin. But before using it, apply a hydrating primer on dry areas, as this prevents further dryness. For the oily parts, however, make sure not to apply cream so they won’t look greasy.

Your hair is your crowning glory, but radiant skin will make you look ten times prettier. These skin care tips may be simple, but if you do these as part of your beauty routine, you’ll surely have that youthful glow that everyone envies.
